ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
More than three decades ago, Carl Soto began his Artisan career with drawing tools and created images of early classic monster movies. Carl's attention to detail and his eye for visual cause and effect showed that his perspective was always focused on more than just a pictures or colors. It was only a matter of time before he would move on to sculpture, airbrushing, mechanical design and eventually cinematography. With guidance from various mentors, Carl was able to perfect his craft, develop his skills, and develop new ways to express his art and ideas. The culmination of decades of creative growth led Carl to establish Soto Designs, of Camarillo, CA.
